flipsz checks each set of preferences about once a minute. A match shows up in Live Sniper right after that, without reloading.

flipsz keeps watching in the background. Matches found while the monitor is closed are saved and appear when you open it again, and in Flips.

Vinted is always live. With Premium, add a platform hashtag to a preference to cover more: #ebay, #kleinanzeigen, #grailed, #vestiaire, #depop, #etsy, #willhaben, #marktplaats, #leboncoin, #wallapop, #subito, #mercari and #yahoojp (Mercari Japan and Yahoo Auctions Japan, both through Buyee), or #all for every platform. Without a platform hashtag flipsz checks Vinted only. eBay and Etsy show up live once their API keys are in the .env file. Kleinanzeigen comes in through your own alert emails. Everything else opens as a ready search link with Search everywhere.

flipsz only connects to a platform in ways that platform allows: an official API with your own key, or the alert emails the platform sends you itself. Grailed, Vestiaire Collective, Depop, willhaben, Marktplaats, leboncoin, Wallapop, Subito and the Japanese sites offer neither for searching, and flipsz doesn't scrape them. Instead it builds the search for you, with your keywords and, where the site supports it, your price range and condition, and you open it in a new tab. Each button says which filters it could carry over, for example "price filter only".

Some platforms, like Kleinanzeigen, email you when a saved search has new ads. Press Create alert on Kleinanzeigen under a preference, save that search there with email alerts on, and send the emails to an inbox flipsz can read. Put IMAP_HOST, IMAP_USER and IMAP_PASSWORD for that inbox into the .env file next to flipsz (Gmail and GMX need an app password). Every 2 minutes flipsz reads only unread emails from the platform's own address, checks the ads in them against your hashtags like any Vinted match, and marks the email as read. It never clicks links in the email or opens the platform's pages. Your login stays in the .env file on your computer and never reaches the browser.

For items bought outside the EU, for example on Grailed, Depop or through Buyee from Japan, flipsz converts the price with today's exchange rate from the European Central Bank (updated once a day). It then adds shipping to you, a customs duty of 12% when the item and shipping together are worth more than 150 €, and 19% import VAT on top of everything. That's why these listings carry an "Import tax included" note. Both rates, the 150 € limit and every platform's fees can be changed in data/fees.json. Your customs office has the final word, and a parcel service may add a handling fee.

Any word becomes a keyword, like #nike or #dunk. Add #size43 or #sizeM for the size, #min20 and #max80 for the price range, and #newtags, #new, #verygood or #good for the minimum condition. #archive switches on Designer & Archive mode. flipsz checks every hashtag against each listing (title, brand, size and condition) and only shows listings that fit all of them. English and German words both work, so #jacket also finds “Jacke”. Category hashtags cover a whole group: #accessories finds belts, jewellery, bags, sunglasses, caps and more, #tops finds shirts, polos, hoodies and sweaters.

As many as you like. Each one is checked separately, so a few focused preferences find matches faster than many broad ones.

The Snipe Kit (Resale Check, Niche Radar, Flip Finder, Offer Sniper) and the Watchlist run on flipsz's own Vinted data. Quicklist, Smart Search and the written wardrobe analysis in the Watchlist use Claude once an ANTHROPIC_API_KEY is set on the server, and fall back to simple rules without it. Quicklist's studio photos remove the background with a REMOVE_BG_API_KEY and otherwise improve light, contrast and framing.

No. Relist in Quicklist is meant for your own listings only. Copying other sellers' photos or texts breaks Vinted's rules and their copyright.

flipsz searches through a curated list of 50+ designers by itself, a few per round, and scores every new listing from 0 to 100. Points come from the designer, from signals in the title like archive, runway, sample, AW02 or 90s, and from a price far below the resale estimate. Only pieces scoring 50 or more reach your Live Sniper. Add keywords like #jacket or a #max300 to narrow it down.

flipsz looks up comparable online listings, with the same brand and the same type of item (for example Ralph Lauren polos), removes the cheapest and most expensive 15 % and takes the median. The value is kept for 24 hours, so frequent items are always priced the same way. It's based on asking prices, not on what items actually sold for, so treat it as a guide.

flipsz needs at least five comparable listings and a recognisable brand. Rare pieces sometimes have too few comparisons, and then flipsz shows nothing rather than a guess.

It shows an estimate. Every find gets an expected net profit: the typical resale price minus 10% for offers, minus the price, buyer protection and shipping. flipsz also notices when a find sells on Vinted and ranks those under Flips. Vinted doesn't show the final sale price, so all profit figures are estimates from asking prices. Your own real profit is in My Charts, from the sales you log there.

No. flipsz prepares everything: the listing text, the price plan and reminders. You post, change prices and delete listings on Vinted yourself, then confirm in Stock with Done. flipsz never posts, changes, deletes, buys or sends messages on Vinted.

The floor is your total cost plus your minimum profit. Total cost is what you paid plus buyer protection and shipping to you. The minimum profit is 5 € unless you change it. The price plan suggests a lower price every 7 days by 10%, rounded to whole euros, and never goes below the floor. Both values can be changed per item.

When you mark an item as sold, flipsz takes the price it sold for and subtracts the total cost. Selling on Vinted has no seller fee and the buyer pays shipping, so that's your profit. The sale is logged in My Charts at the same time.

No. flipsz finds the listings. You decide and buy on the platform yourself. flipsz never buys, sends messages or signs in anywhere.

No. flipsz is an independent project. It reads Vinted's public search like a visitor would and keeps its requests sparse. Vinted's terms don't provide for automated searching, so use flipsz for your own purchases and in moderation.
